The BRIDESMAIDS

VUONG NGUYEN

Sheena and I have been good friends for 14 years since high school. Over the years, we have collected so many treasured memories together. From our silly group projects and spontaneous shopping adventures in high school to our fun annual girls trip. As we progressed in life, we always managed to keep in touch no matter how far or how long to share gossip conversations and many life’s milestones together. I met Nate during their beginning stages of dating, and I instantly saw the affection they had for one another. I am so happy to celebrate this special day with them!

MIMI TRAN

Sheena and I have known each other since middle school. We bonded through talent show practices to 6am Starbucks meet ups. It brings me great joy that we have been close friends regardless of how busy we are or how far apart. We could be miles apart and yet I know we can count on each other to be there for each other. When I first met Nate, I was so excited to see how happy Sheena was when she is around Nate. I can't wait for your special day lovebirds, congrats!

AESHA PATEL

My name is Aesha and I've known Sheena since middle school. We had our most amazing memories in high school. Sheena is beautiful inside and out and I truly cherish her friendship. After high school, we drifted away distance wise to pursue our careers in different cities, even countries at one point but we always remained close by heart. When she first told me about Nate I was super excited! After meeting him I was certain that Nate truly completed her. They are perfect for each other and I couldn’t be happier for them!

BETHEL N. HART

Sheena and I first met while working at George Brown College’s Career Centre. Our friendship grew as we spent countless hours chatting at work and pulling pranks on our fellow co-workers. As a culinary student of GBC, Sheena would keep bringing us delectable and scrumptious meals from her class! I was certain from then on that she was a definite keeper! =P I also had the opportunity to travel with Sheena, Mei and Caroline to New York for a weekend vacay/girls time. Unfortunately, her brief stay in Toronto had to come to an end as she ventured on to the next stage of her life/career. Although her Toronto friends and family were sad to see her go, I was also happy that going back home had resulted in Sheena meeting her soulmate and husband-to-be, Nate. I am very happy for this beautiful couple and I wish them all the love and happiness in the world as they begin their adventure as husband and wife!

MEI LING KWOK

I first met Sheena back when we were in George Brown College. While she was at the downtown campus, we met through Paul Needham who was our boss at the Career Centre. I was working at the other campus and while i've heard about her from Paul as 'a witty chinese girl hail from the States and is an excellent chef', i didn't meet her until a while later when we all had a meeting at the downtown campus and my first impression was 'She's a chef? She's so tall!! She's American?? OMG there's a box of sweets!!'. After that, the rest is history. The NYC trip with the other GBC CC girls was epic i will never forget it. Sheena overall is such an amazing person and an awesome friend. Even though we are separated by the US Boarder, that will never get in the way of our friendship. I am honoured to be one of her bridesmaid and see her marry off. Nate is a super awesome cool guy and they are just such a divine match for one another. They are THE couple that everyone strive to be. I wish nothing but happiness for them and cannot wait for your BIG DAY!

DONNA SIMONE JOHNSON

I met Nate and Sheena through another friend, Daniel, and we became fast friends. Bonded by our love for good food, strenuous adventure, all black, and our mutual dislike of all the same things, Sheena and I began carving out our own friendship a couple of years ago, and she is now one of my closest girlfriends! My favorite thing about the two of them is the level of friendship and respect that they share, plus they have so much FUN! I'm honoured to be a part of their special day, and hope that I don't spill wine on Sheena.

ANGELINE DY

For me and my brother, he is 12 years older than me, so he was more like a second father than a brother. For many years he was and still is my mentor, sometimes stern father figure, but in the end a person in my life that I truly value. Words can't describe the happiness that I feel that he found happiness in the beautiful soul that is my soon to be sister in law Sheena! What's not to love, a UCLA Alumni (go bruins), badass career woman tall asian chick. She puts up with my brother's strange sense of humor, but most of all she has given him love and truly challenged him and made him the best version of himself. I wish nothing but love and beautiful memories for this beautiful tall asian couple.
